Wren Hannah, LMHC

Wren (he/him) received his Master’s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University. He has over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of therapeutic settings. Wren was an art therapist and assistant director for 10 years at an adventure-based counseling program for adolescents. He also served as a therapist and clinical supervisor for a decade at the Center for Expressive Arts Therapy in Manchester, NH. Wren has taught graduate courses in Expressive Arts Therapy, and he continues to provide clinical supervision to graduate students at Lesley University.

Wren practices traditional psychotherapy and incorporates different art modalities into the treatment if desired (drama, writing, art, movement, and music). He believes that infusing his work with various art modalities encourages empowerment and transformation. Wren has a particular specialization in drama therapy which creates a playful and an embodied space. His approach allows individuals to safely explore old patterns, and to discover untapped inner resources, such as resilience, flexibility, and self-compassion. He has experience working with diverse sexual orientations and gender identities.

Wren is currently accepting appointments with children, adolescents, and adults.
